Are you a perfectionist? I know I am but I’m working on it. And funnily, some of our most viewed posts and reels were definitely not perfect (sometimes a bit wobbly, sometimes with a transition I wasn’t super happy about 😅). How far you’ve come… Elias has become a true

How far you’ve come… Elias has become a true little adventurer. In Italy he walked most days between 8 and 13km! Some days we didn’t realise we walked so much until we were back. Past trips and some tricks have definitely helped:
- we always go on walks or hikes around Sydney and when we travel
- when he was carried in the deuter kids comfort, we always gave him time to explore on his own as well
- we stopped using the pram when he was 2, even for daycare and walks in the city. And I can tell you it was tough sometimes 😂
- we make exploring fun by looking for bugs, leaves, sticks and talking about nature and lots of other things based on his mood It’s not always easy as he has off days, like us, and it requires a lot of work from us to motivate or entertain him sometimes but he never ceases to amaze us.

Save this post for when you visit Italy!! 🇮🇹 This beautiful place is located at Vignanotica beach. We just went there as part of a walk we did to Mergoli & that I highly recommend even with kids. It’s gorgeous and there were only a few people in October. Also I shot this on my own, without a tripod, by balancing the phone on the walls of the cave! Not an easy task so I feel like I should mention it 😂 What do you think of this spot? #reelstravel #europereels #familyadventures #metime #mommytime #italyroadtrip
